Later on, you can register an LLC in USA or UK (as an example) under which you would like to run this business.
Now you have two choices :
(1) do product research, sourcing, product listing, store front development, setting up seller central account, manage logistics, product inspection, manage campaigns, manage customer relationship etc. by your self OR
2) hire help from a couple of free-lance websites to undertake some or all of the above critical tasks.
Of course Option 2 above will cost you money so its a more suitable option if you already have another active business or job and want to start Amazon PL in a passive manner.

Of course, there is no restriction on how much you can start this business with so doesn't matter you have $2,000 or an extra couple of zeros, just make sure you start with risk capital only so in case things don't go as per plan, you and your family isn't impacted.
Perhaps a good option would be to start in a range of $10,000 - $15,000 as this will help you scale up quicker and reach meaningful profit levels sooner.
